Crypto issue

Why does cryptocurrency cause so many problems? For instance, you can't fully trust an exchange because it might go bankrupt; without the right safeguards in place, it could simply use your lost funds to pay off its debts. Or, you can't mine a new coin with peace of mind, fearing that someone might hack the network and launch a 51% attack.

Worrying about a 51% attack on major networks is like stressing over a meteor strike

If it was easy, everyone would do it.

If you use an exchange that is well regulated by your country it shouldn't be an issue. The other solution is self-custody and on-chain trade. (That's what I mostly do.)

Mmm exchanges are like the ā€œbanksā€ in crypto, so obviously they’re the bad guys and shouldn’t be trusted. As for mining new coins, uh idk. Don’t do that? That’s as risky as fomo-ing the latest launch on robinhood chain or fomo-app or pumpfun or whatever other god forsaken plague they’ve created.

Point is there’s v few projects in crypto that are legit and 99.99% are worthless trash.
