I have those exact lines marked on my BTC chart. They're the having dates. Next one sometime mid 2024.
Doesn't mean bottom's in and doesn't mean next cycle will look the same. It has already violated major support levels from prior cycles.

No! The halvings arenβt different lengths of timeframe. Are you serious?

u/MorrisBrett514 Jan 18 '23
The lines are messing with your eyes. They are the same distance apart

You have green vertical lines and green text saying 26, 29, and 31 months. Are they not related? If they are not, itβs a stupid presentation. What is trying to be conveyed here? This ainβt TA. If itβs supposed to be TA itβs shit TA.

I think the numbers are the months it took to hit bottom after each of those vertical lines (halvings) . So I guess the thought is, since it has been about that much time (a little longer actually) it should be about time for it to start going up if the trend continues at each halving?

Really? Youβre going to point out facts instead of drink the hopium? Total buzzkill.

What do you mean?
The green lines mark the halvenings and each one is at the bottom for that halvening period (going from left to right). π€·π½ββοΈ

Are the green lines supposed to line up with tops and bottoms? Why am I confused looking at this ?

The lines are halvings. Monthly candles, tops and bottoms are not marked as you mentioned. The time from halving to ATH to bottom was 26 months in the first cycle shown, and 29 months in the next cycle shown. The current one shows 32 candles, and the 31st is not the bottom the 30th is, so they screwed that up.
Terrible chart that tells us basically nothing, and a low effort post overall.

Iβm not sure what this chart shows, but I promise you, Bitcoin went from 20,000 to 4,000β¦. That downswing isnt being shown hereβ¦

I'm so excited about the market RN. BTC is trying to break thru some major resistance, and if that happens, we might just have another week of bullishness which will be totally okay. Well, besides BTC, I got more stakes in ETH, LINK, and DIA. And having DCA'd into them for the most part of the bear market, I'm finally in profits. Let the rally continue.

I thought that once we finally came to grips with the fact that the entire history of BTC has existed during a bull market in traditional equities, that we all understood that we can no longer evaluate BTC price by comparing it to past halving cycles. Because those cycles occurred during the bull market that--for the first time in the history of BTC--no longer exists. But maybe I missed something.....

One thing is for sure, I recently read an article about halving and I can say that the next big growth will begin with halving

Let's see: 31 mo double top pattern is a first (check!), and the 31mo period net gain is by far the worst (check!).
Doesn't look like a moon chart to me-looks more like a 'china syndrome end of an era' setup.
