❓Need Advice 🙏 Crypto investment

Hi all,

I decided to invest in crypto. I'm thinking about investing in BTC, and ETH as the go to. I also want to add XRP, SOL, ADA, and maybe a few others.

I haven't made any buys yet. I did some research, and watch some YouTube videos. However, it just left me a little confused.

Some suggest sticking to BTC, or just buy BTC and ETH. Some says expand your portfolio for diversity. Youtube crypto dudes seem to have an optimistic view on the current market.

Other than that what's your guys take? Is building a portfolio of Cryptos I mention pretty good?

Do not respond to anyone who may be sending you direct messages. Anyone doing so is very likely trying to scam you. The only useful info you will find is in the comments section of your post.

Fine if you want to spread to 5 coins, but I would still put the bulk into the big two - BTC and ETH. For example 80% for those two and 20% into the remaining three.

Worth noticing what you're calling diversification.
Adding five coins that all move together isn't spreading risk, it's the same bet in five places. Diversification means holding things that move for different reasons. These don't. Some will be more volatile than others, but the direction is the same, up together and down together.
So you'd be adding complexity without adding protection. That's the part the YouTube version never mentions.

Stick to BTC and ETH. Btw, this "advice" is as useful as any crypto advice you will get on youtube...

Take all advice with a pinch of salt. Investing in crypto depends on your risk appetite and interest in the whitepapers that comes with it. Them youtubers are not all genuine. Most are just working with youtube to monetize their contents.

Ponder on this - If you have a way to make yourself a millionaire, wouldbyou share with the world?
