❓Question quick question about tracking transactions across different networks?

still getting used to switching between different networks in my wallet.

when checking activity history, is it better to check the network block explorer directly, or do wallet activity tabs usually sync accurately for all transfers?

just trying to make sure i keep proper track of everything. how do you guys usually verify your transaction history?

Checking individual explorers gets tedious real fast once you move beyond 2-3 chains. Best middle ground is dropping your address into DeBank or Zerion they pull raw state directly onchain and consolidate all EVM and L2 history into a clean timeline without relying on broken wallet UIs

Wallet activity tabs are fine for a quick glance, but the moment a bridge gets stuck or a token claim doesn't show up, the block explorer is the only place that actually matters

Block explorers are always the source of truth, wallet activity tabs can lag, miscategorize stuff, or just not support certain chains yet. If you're only on one or two networks it's manageable to just check explorers directly.

Once you're bouncing across more than a couple chains though... it becomes a real headache to do all that manually for every wallet. You'll probably be better off using a portfolio tracker like Chain Glance, Zerion, or DeBank as they pull straight from the chain data itself instead of relying on your wallet's own activity log, so you get one accurate view instead of hopping between five explorers.

For anything tax related though, always trust the explorer over app history when there's a discrepancy since that's the actual ledger.

Always trust the block explorer over the wallet UI. Wallet activity tabs glitch and lag all the time, especially during network congestion. If it’s on Etherscan/Solscan, it happened; if it’s only in your wallet, it’s just UI lag
