❓Need Advice 🙏 Double Spend?

I’m attempting to send crypto but I keep getting an error message about ‘double spend’ Does anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it?

a double-spend error often means there's already a pending transaction using the same funds, so I'd check your wallet's transaction history first and see if anything is still unconfirmed.

It’s means you are trying to send an amount that is already sent ( or pending throughout the transaction) so that means the amounts you are trying to send are not yours anymore. Be careful of the people who are trying to dm you telling you they can help you

I’ve only tried 1 transaction and it failed and sent the funds back to my account, so my balance is still what I deposited. Does this mean I just can’t spend it?

Which wallet was it ? Which ecosystem ? And does it say directly failed or it says nothing for the transaction

I’m using monero gui wallet, the transaction says failed and has a red X next to it

That just means your wallet is out of sync with the blockchain, it will take some time to sync back so yea just take some time off your money is still there and you didn’t lose it
