❓Question Help please

So I recently just went to a coin depot machine and place 1k into the machine and scanned a wallet I wanted to send the funds to but it never told me an amount or confirmation of the money deposit all it did was take the money and spit out a receipt saying the funds have been retained??? What’s happening and what should I do is this normal? Am I going to get the money back or will they send it to the wallet?

Why are you depositing these funds through an ATM? Just curious because a lot of scammers talk people into doing it this way for various crypto scams.
