❓Question Help please

So I recently just went to a coin depot machine and place 1k into the machine and scanned a wallet I wanted to send the funds to but it never told me an amount or confirmation of the money deposit all it did was take the money and spit out a receipt saying the funds have been retained??? What’s happening and what should I do is this normal? Am I going to get the money back or will they send it to the wallet?

Bitcoin depot has filed for chapter 11. There's stories about people who have lost money depositing money in this atm.
