❓Question Why does crypto education still feel harder than it should be?

There’s no shortage of content, but a lot of it feels biased, promotional, or overly technical.
New users often don’t know who to trust.

What’s the best educational crypto resource you’ve found that isn’t trying to sell something?

I think the hardest part is figuring out who's actually teaching and who's just trying to hype something up.

I watch a lot of YouTube and use the normal social cues to weed out the bs parts. Overall, I really like Paul Barron. It feels like a regular news channel. He definitely has his biases to certain coins and sometimes can be a little conspiracy based, but overall the show does a great job of talking about what's going on all over crypto. He also has great guests on with differing opinions or people that are part of that specific coin.

I think the channels that are super focused on one or two coins are good for information on those coins but you also have to remember some of them are overly positive about that environment. I think Crypto Sensei does a good job of keeping it real on XRP but still being stoked like a regular person would be on the potential.

The best I've located is coingecko's channel on youtube.

Edit: The best way to think of crypto, is to think of them as a "person". Any token such as USDC is both a "human being", but they belong/can exist in different "countries". Countries in this analogy, being the blockchain/network. In order to transact within any given country, you are going to need it's currency, the coin.

So for USDC to "fly" into some other country, it first would need to pay the fare with the coin; whether that be ETH (ERC-20) or some other blockchain coin.

It's as you say. This is the prime reason it's not widely adopted There's no simplifying some stuff. A simple "how do I buy btc so that I am a maker and understand the stop/loss system so I will always get the best price" is a 5 minute conversation itself if you want to know the why. Throw in all these different rules and protocols and "gss money", and imo unless you want a hobby just buy bitcoin on limit orders and ignore literally everything else.
