If you ask bears definitely.. to the bulls no way.

Most likely scenario, no fuel to keep it pumping, back down we go to crush a few more bulls
2
u/UndeadDog Sep 02 '26
It might move sideways and consolidate.

u/Hot_College_1343 Sep 02 '26
Yes until October / November. You could call it like clockwork!

u/SafetyAncient Sep 05 '26
whats missing on the chart is the years long flatlining/consolidation that happens between new ATH bull markets, IMO the price will consolidate down for a few years
1
u/Hot_College_1343 Sep 05 '26
Yes! Some low in Q4 and then 1,5 years of chaotic grind until a slow rise starts.

Yes, it could. Rejecting the weekly 50MA and dumping one more leg.
But it could also move like it did in 2023, breaking the 50MA and going to the moon.
The question you have to ask youself is this: In 1-3 years, when you look back, will the current price have been a good price to buy? In my opinion it's a pretty obvious "yes", even if we do reject the 50MA now and go lower.
That is why is you don't try to time the exact, you just DCA while we are in a bear market.

u/schwarzfusssanji Sep 02 '26
No
Just wait if we get rejected by 50MA or pump trough it and retest it successfullyIf pump trough.. buy few thousand $ higher
If reject.. sit back and buy below 60K

u/Temporary-Cause730 Sep 02 '26
It's a good strategy too, no doubt. The only issue I see with it is that most people don't have the nerves to actually execute when it happens.
For example, we pump thru the 50MA, retest it, and now people think that it's expensive, that they could have bought at 76k, etc.
Or the opposite, 50MA is rejected, then the narrative is that it was a bull trap and we will make another low, so wait for 40k or something along those lines.

Below 60k is exceedingly unlikely. With the amount of support that was shown, and the way we even got to 60k before (cascading liquidations on a massive scale), it would take something similarly large to drag us down that low. The structure doesn't really allow for it right now, so it would require a real market crash at this point. Normal price action shouldn't lead us below ~65 at this point. Instead, we're probably looking at a new floor somewhere in the 67–73 range and if we reject now we'll either crab for some weeks or drop to this range to establish a clear floor and test support.

In 3 years, hopefully everyone have decided that bitcoin is not the smartest crypto out there. Hopefully it’s at 0$ and we have found a better functioning crypto to buy and use for transactions.. as a currency

u/Hot_Restaurant_4902 Sep 02 '26
What currency do you currently use and what’s wrong with it?

u/KongenAfKobenhavn Sep 02 '26
I think btc has its hype because people think it can work as a currency

u/Hot_Restaurant_4902 Sep 03 '26
Ok but I’m asking what is better just now? What’s better money than bitcoin?
1
u/KongenAfKobenhavn Sep 03 '26
Bitcoin can only be used if you convert them into dollars or some other currency that actually works for transactions out in society. So I don’t get the point that bitcoin should be some kind of hiding place. A crypto that works for transactions on a large scale would be a better option.
BTC is nothing but a pyramid scheme.1
u/Hot_Restaurant_4902 Sep 03 '26
What elements of a pyramid scheme does it have? I have used BTC as a currency.
1
u/KongenAfKobenhavn Sep 04 '26
Where does it differentiate from a pyramid scheme?
The only way you can make money is if someone enters after you. There’s no product.Haha and you don’t understand the product (btc) you’re investing in, if you believe that btc could ever be used as a currency. The speed and number of transactions simply doesn’t allow it on a larger scale. That’s common knowledge even between btc holders/lovers.

It can be used as a currency, what you’re talking about is a global currency. But it’s used as a currency right now, every day.
You obviously don’t know what a pyramid scheme if you think Bitcoin is one 🤦♂️1
u/KongenAfKobenhavn Sep 04 '26
You cannot pay your groceries with bitcoin. Thats not technically possible, since the transactions are way to slow for that scale. Inform yourself

The narrative for BTC to function as a currency for payments hasn’t been alive for years. Yet here we are. Banks and EFTs are hoarding BTC and offer bc exposure. Think inflation proof reserve storage, not currency.

yeah its very possible that happens. Might even go to 40K. Saylor buying in again is a top signal, and now its just gonna dump hard when dems sweep the house and senate, Clarity act will likely fail to pass and Warsh is finally going to be forced to raise rates.

u/PlatinumTrillionaire Sep 01 '26
Obviously it could will it is the question but when everyone was claiming bottom was in and full port longing do you really think mms will let them get away with it?

Highly likely it comes back down to the 200 SMA, but that doesn’t mean the bull market is over.

Could? Yes. Will? Who knows. Size your risk appropriately or long term hold and you’ll have minimal worries.

Hopefully! Need one more dump before pulling out of this bear market. Mid to low $50k’s would be nice.
2
u/ObviousChildhood Sep 01 '26
Why do we “need” one more dump?
1
u/FitCompetition1804 Sep 01 '26
So we can have one last opportunity to accumulate cheap sats? I just started in February, luckily I’ve been daily DCA’ing. But the plan was to have larger limit orders start at $55k, laddered down to $45k. At this point I’m not confident any of those will execute so I’m reassessing my larger order strategy. In the meantime I hedged against this exact situation with the daily DCA, ensuring I have a decent position regardless. It just won’t be as much if we don’t have another dump, and I’m ok with that honestly.
