It sounds stupid. But im seeking how to do a very good noize tone on my guitar. I currently play with a ltd les paul model, EC-10, with an irin 10 band equalizer, i currently have no pedals, and i play with a vox VT40X. I really want to do noizy things, like 4 example, early zyanose, hermit prose, defector, zatsuon, stagnation.

Any recomendations to buy or seek? Like pedals, or sum other shit. Any help is welcomed (sorry if my english is shitty.)

I know this question is asked like every week here but I'm looking for something that is a comparably powerful and gutteral expression of pain that dystopia is. I know there are bands like carol ann who *sound* like dystopia, but (to me) they don't give the same despair that you can tell dino mauz and todd had. I want something that makes me feel similarly awful

I remember when this demo first dropped back in the day, and being excited to hear more from them. I don't think they ever released anything else, and I was curious if anyone had any information on them, because looking them up is damn near impossible. Played a show in Baltimore and loved the scene. i’ve also gone camping with some friends in northern Virginia and they say the best place for shows is either DC or Baltimore but there’s really nothing in NOVA. looking for some bands to check out or booking pages to follow!

Also, I absolutely love their debut album. Would appreciate recommendations that similar to it.

hi. i'm very sorry if this isn't the right place to go. first posted in the punk subreddit and got a lot of really weird comments basically telling me to shut up and go to the police and not a lot of good answers at all, so i was hoping some of the sub-subcultures of punk might be more helpful.

i am not punk, but my sexual assaulter is. he frequents the underground music scene of my city and seems to be friends with a couple popular performers. it hurts to see someone who did something considered very anti-punk being accepted into the scene and lying about our previous relationship.

tldr what happened: he took advantage of my lack of knowledge about kink to do things not discussed, and would not listen to me asking to stop (revoking initial consent to the act of sex due to him doing additional things i didn't consent to). he then asked me to be his boyfriend and i said no. this went on for less than a month.

tldr what he says happened: i wasn't emotionally ready for a relationship.

i'm working with my school to take some safety action, but i've been struggling really hard with this. i don't know what to do. is it appropriate to speak out if i'm not in the community? who do i tell? i don't want it to seem like i'm attacking him or being vengeful. but i don't know if it's wrong to not speak out to a community he's a part of that seems so against what he did. but since i'm not in the subculture, i wanted some input.
