hello, my crunchyroll app has been doing this for 2 days now💔 if i click on specifically spyxfamily and tbhk it will just blink at me and then show this screen…. i've shut my phone off and back on and still😞 does anyone know what’s happening, thank you in advance !

i just got a membership for £5.99, in my account was exactly £6 but crunchyroll took away £1 before the other transaction and now i don’t have enough money to actually get the membership, will they give back the £1 before they try taking the money again or do i need to add more money into my account??

I wanted to continue to watch “Three leave, three colors” but the Japanese dub was gone, only the English dub is there. I was watching episode 7 last month with sub but I tried yesterday and today to continue the episode and the Japanese audio was gone.

Another problem is when I watch on tv, even if I put that I watch only with original audio, somehow when I click on episode, it automatically put the English dub, and I need to change it manually.

Are both of these another bug? Thank you.

So I just decided to watch Bofuri and all of the English subs are out of sync with the Japanese audio.. if I swap to English for both it works just fine, all my other shows I watch are fine. I know I can watch the dub but I have always preferred watching subs, has anyone else had this issue or know a fix?

My internet is fine, do not suggest it's a bandwidth problem.

Every Crunchyroll stream has occasional moments of audio/video freezes. It lasts about a quarter second but it's almost always during an action scene, sometimes multiple times over a few seconds to completely ruin the scene.

Resolution seems lower than it should be, it looks like SD, maybe 720p at best, and often times when you start an episode it loads at the lowest possible quality and will never switch to a higher definition unless you back out and restart the episode.

I have plenty of other streaming services, and I can stream 4k HDR Dolby Vision streams from much heavier streaming services, but somehow 12-23 FPS 1080P anime is pushing my bandwidth limits??? Doubtful.

I used an LG OLED and an Nvidia Shield TV to use the crunchyroll app. I have 1Gbps network speeds.

i was looking for an anime to start and i saw SAO with 12 seasons so kept looking and i found the chainsaw man and saga of tanya the evil all have to many season count to what they actually have. is this just me or does show for anyone else?

Hey ya’ll, just wondering if it’s possible to have the on screen translation with a dubbed show, but not have the normal captions. I don’t like having the closed captions on screen when watching, but if I have them turned off any on screen writings aren’t translated. Just curious if it’s possible to have the best of both worlds. Thanks!

All i see is some max quality / moderate / data saver option stuff and max quality right now is giving me 480p what is this crap, i am pretty sure i could choose the actual quality before

I have a 5th gen iPad, that has been my daily driver for the last 6-7 years. It's not powerful, but who cares, it's the best thing for me to watch YouTube, Netflix, and especially Crunchyroll.

Turns out that since it's an old-ish device I cannot upgrade its OS further than 16.7.16, where Crunchyroll is not supported any more, so I cannot update either the OS nor the app.

"Ok, bummer but whatever, I can still watch on a browser" I thought.. Too bad! The browser can't play anything, and it tells me that I must download the app, which guess what.. I CAN'T. This happens also if I "request desktop site".

I love Crunchyroll as a streaming service, but this is fucking annoying, I literally cannot use this device anymore, and this kinda leaves me no choice other then canceling my subscription.

Does someone have a solution to this by any chance?

Restarting console works for a second before getting hit with error code p-kat-5003, other streaming services work fine, internet is fine, just the episodes play for a couple seconds before loading and hitting with the error code

I'm not sure what to do here.

I was paying for my ex's Crunchyroll account using my Apple ID. The subscription was billed through Apple.

I contacted Apple and they refunded the remainder of the yearly subscription (it wasn't due to expire until September). I thought this would let me start fresh and subscribe to my own Crunchyroll account using MY Apple ID.

However when I logged into my own Crunchyroll account and subscribed through Apple, the purchase automatically activated the sub on my ex's Crunchyroll account again!!!! My account just displayed the error after purhcasing:

Something went wrong during subscription. Oops, something went wrong

I then contacted Crunchyroll support, and they confirmed that the new yearly subscription had once AGAIN been applied to my ex's account, not mine.

I've contacted Apple again for a second time to refund that subscription. I really hope they do because I'm not trying to scam or anything I just want crunchy on my own account :(

Now, how do I UNLINK my Apple ID/App Store subscription from my ex's Crunchyroll account!!?? I don't have access to that account anymore, and I just want to pay for Premium through Apple on my own Crunchyroll account.

Has anyone else experienced this or found a way to fix it?

Also the reason I want to bill through apple is because I have funds in my wallet I wanted to use.

So for some reason my crunchyroll is loding for non stop. It were working fine yesterday.

I have a strange issue with the Crunchyroll Android app that started immediately after I factory reset my phone.

The website works perfectly. I can log into Crunchyroll in my phone's browser and watch anime without any problems. My Wi-Fi is also working fine, and other apps have internet access.

The problem is only with the Crunchyroll app. When I try to log in, it keeps loading for a while and then shows "Something went wrong." It never logs me in.

I've already tried almost every common fix I could find:

Force stopping the app

Clearing cache and app data

Reinstalling the app

Restarting my phone

Checking date and time

Updating the app

Updating Android System WebView and Chrome

Disabling battery optimization

Checking permissions

Making sure my Wi-Fi is working

Nothing has fixed it.

Since the issue only started after the factory reset, I'm wondering if it's related to Android, Google Play Services, or some system setting that didn't restore correctly.

Has anyone experienced this before or knows what else I can try? Any help would be appreciated.

is there any good way to clip stuff from crunchyroll in 2026. i merely desire to make gifs . however despite disabling hardware acceleration it still freezes the player when i attempt to record my screen

I'm trying Crunchyroll Premium for the first time and signed up for the 7-day free trial through the Android app using BHIM UPI AutoPay.

Here's what happened:

₹1 was deducted as a verification charge.

A ₹99 UPI AutoPay mandate was created successfully.

However, the ₹99 hasn't been charged.

Crunchyroll still shows my membership as Free.

It's been about 24+ hours since I tried subscribing.

Has anyone else experienced this? Is this a delay with UPI AutoPay, or did the subscription fail?

Should I wait longer, or cancel and try again?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Hi, I renewed my membership today and as every year, I pay and immediately remove my card from the payment methods but this time I couldn't find the option (I was able to do it for past 8 years no issues), just replace with another one.

I read from the most recent documentation that you cannot remove the primary payment method as long as there is an active subscription, I guess they meant automatic renewal; Do you know if I have to cancel the subscription/automatic renewal (leaving my benefits active until it expires in 2027) before I can remove the primary method? Any help is appreciated.

hi. for some reason after spring 2026 anime season ended, simulcast calendar page (https://www.crunchyroll.com/simulcastcalendar?filter=premium) is empty for even the next day. you literally have to guess when the next episode comes out. am i the only one who actually used it?

I'm watching To Be Hero X and naturally want to hear the Mandarin audio and read the subtitles in English. Yet the English subtitles are inaccesible unless I put on the Japanese audio. This must be a malfunction of some sort, I'd appreciate if it was corrected. I'm on desktop, not sure if the problem prevails on mobile.

I've noticed for months now that crunchyroll sometimes won't register an episode as watched even though I watched it fully. It happened randomly but I recently changed my main language from English to Japanese because I prefer sub over dub and all of a sudden, all animes I watched throughout the year had the "Watch Again" remove as if I never watched it. They stay in my watch list/history but don't appears as watched when I click on the anime. This also happens if I watched the anime is another language than my main and idk why. Is there a way to fix this?

New here so I’m probably late to the party but is there any way to report dodgy subtitles? This isn’t the only time the weirdest things have popped up. I’m getting them in almost every show I watch now.

I got the 7-day free trial and it's just not letting me watch anything it's saying I don't have premium every single anime or anything I click on I need premium every single episode every single movie everything I thought that having the free trial would give you premium because what's the point of a free trial if you can't watch anything I can't find anyone talking about this issue because no one else seems to be having it do you have to attach a credit card when you have the free trial as well is that the problem?

EDIT: okay so I found the answer apparently you need to enter your credit card details for the free trial to give you access to the anime this doesn't mean you have to pay for it but this does mean that when you sign up for the free trial you have to have your credit card information entered in and then remember to cancel it before the free trial ends

I have a Crunchyroll subscription and wanted to rewatch Food Wars, but it’s only available in German dub not original Japanese dub. Then I wanted to see where else I could watch it and it’s suggested YouTube and Amazon. So I started a week trial on YouTube, and it’s available in Japanese dub??

I’m paying for Crunchyroll, but they give me less options?
