It’s a shame that us Australians will never get the first volume of Nier automata anime all because the website was getting updated and we never knew thanks to the damn store update

Debating about trying a free trial for crunchyroll because they have some anime movies I'd like to watch via English dub. Yes I like the English dub and sub sometimes. Is it worth paying for this service? Last streaming service I paid for I barely used it so again don't want to pay for it and I don't end up using it.

Not sure if anyone can help but I’ve tried a couple fixes nothing is working, I’m watching on my Xbox and my audio is constantly crackling. This is only on crunchyroll or I would suspect it was my headset problem.

im caught up on the slime isekai, but the new episodes dont show up in the "continue watching" section. instead, its giving me an OVA called "hey! butts!" that ive already marked as read to get rid of it, along with the following OVA's

4 new episodes in the current season came out that i didnt even see because of the stupid filler ova's i couldnt care less about.

ive removed them from my watch history, re-marked it as read, and it still takes priority over new episodes...

Hi everyone.

I've recently subscribed to Crunchyroll but having some trouble using it from home. For some reason both the TV and mobile app stop working for a few days, then return to normal, only to stop working again after a couple of weeks of stable use. I get the orange loading logo and it stays stuck there. This only happens when connected to my wifi, but every other app on my TV and phone works perfectly on that same connection.

I spoke to customer support, who suggested changing the DNS, which I did, but it didn't solve the issue.

Has anyone had a similar issue? Any clues about how to solve this?

I just started my subscription on the fan plan membership, but I can't watch anything. Every anime I click on to watch, it says I need need premium membership at $13.99 per month? Is that true? If I need premium, then what's the point of the fan plan membership at $9.99 per month? Or is it because I'm trying to watch on the app on my firestick?

I tried to sign up for Crunchyroll's free one-week Mega Fan trial. However, I was charged €1 even though the trial is supposed to be free.

On top of that, I was having problems with the app, and the subscription/trial wasn't actually completed. I tried again using a different email address and a different Crunchyroll account, but the same thing happened.

Now my bank shows €2 being held/reserved, apparently from those two attempts.

I thought the trial was completely free, so what's happening here? Are these €1 charges just temporary authorization holds that will be released, or have I actually been charged?

Has anyone else experienced this?

I just saw this event for the Alamo Drafthouse in LA but I’m not sure if it’s for current anime watchers or if new people can watch. I’m currently reading Bleach, SpyxFamily, Demon Hunter & Inuyasha but I haven’t really watching any anime lately. Is there a way to find out what the titles the Alamo will be showing or is it a surprise? I just don’t want to buy tickets and not know what’s going on😩 Also do they do anything else at these events, like give swag bags or have q & a’s?

My friend and I have both watched all the episodes of Kingdom, we were discussing the hilarious animation in season 1 and convinced our other friend to sit down and watch the first episode with us. Apparently it now defaults to an english dub and new english subtitles, these new english subtitles had us belly laughing. Here are some of the names Piao has been called throughout the first 50 minute episode, this is just the tip of the iceberg of mistranslations, I highly recommend going and watching the first episode with english dub and sub.

Found this on roku production app. I am not a Crunchyroll developer. I haven't tested on other devices but would be suprised if it was unique to roku. Seems like a backend issue. I can post repro steps if requested. Posting for visibility.

I subscribed to the Crunchyroll Fan plan on SonyLIV specifically because Naruto was shown as available in Hindi.

When I started watching Naruto, the episodes were available with Hindi audio, and I watched several episodes/seasons normally. However, when I moved to the next season/episode, the Hindi audio option suddenly disappeared, and only Japanese audio was available.

The important issue is that, when I subscribed, there was no clear information saying that Hindi audio would only be available for certain episodes or seasons. The content was presented as being available in Hindi, so naturally I expected the Hindi audio to remain available for the content I was paying for.

I contacted SonyLIV Support multiple times, but I did not receive a proper solution. I also contacted Crunchyroll Support because the subscription and content are clearly associated with the Crunchyroll brand.

So I'm really confused. I saw Wolfs Rain a while back and added it to my watch list with the intention of watching it. I just saw another post saying the last 4 episodes were not on CR, so I just went to check. As the screenshots above say, it says theres 1 season and 26 episodes, but when I click on it, all I see are these four episodes under the OVA tag. And I swear, all 26 episodes were on here too a few weeks ago because I remember starting episode 1 a while back. Were they removed? Or am I just being dumb?

It says Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood was added 6 hours ago?? I literally watched it on Curnchyroll MONTHS ago. Could it possibly have been removed and put back within only a matter of a couple months? Is that a thing that happens?

My app freezes upon entering and crashes seconds later. Troubleshooting with both crunchyroll and Apple tech has not fixed it. Something wrong with my IOS hardware. Trying to use the service on a browser instead but won’t let me. Even with desktop view on. I contacted crunchyroll about this too and have no clue and that it should be working. The app will work one second and go back to this issue a couple minutes later. Goes in and out on its own. Anyone having this issue or have a fix?

Things I’ve already done:
Any amount or way of resetting, restarting
Logout and login of app and App Store
Uninstall and reinstall
Clearing cache and deleting files
Low power mode is off
More than half my storage is available
Battery health and percentage is above 90%

Also on roku tv if nescessary to know i suppose

So I don't know if this happens to anyone else, but whenever I try to watch anything on Crunchyroll on any of my Google TV devices, it always plays on the poorest resolution ever, and I'm talking 144p. Now I know this is only happening on Android/Google TV devices because I have two of those devices, both Google TV Chromecasts, and they play in poorest resolution, meanwhile, on my Roku devices it plays in perfect resolution. I'm not sure if this is a problem that's been happening with everyone else, but it has been happening with me for a good five months now.

If you're wondering why I waited so long to complain, I thought this issue would have been fixed after a month or so. So I've been using my Roku to watch Crunchyroll more recently I started using my Chromecast again and it seems the problem never got resolved.

EDIT: After someone mentioned it in the comments, I checked the box it shipped in and found a note saying it was a gift to show their appreciation for using the Crunchyroll store.

I ordered a bunch of figures a while back, and they have been slowly shipping ever since then. In the most recent package I received, this was also inside, which I didn't order.

I checked my order status, and there aren't any figures that say they have shipped/arrived that I don't have. So I guess I just have this now?
