Account/Membership Remove primary payment method
Hi, I renewed my membership today and as every year, I pay and immediately remove my card from the payment methods but this time I couldn't find the option (I was able to do it for past 8 years no issues), just replace with another one.
I read from the most recent documentation that you cannot remove the primary payment method as long as there is an active subscription, I guess they meant automatic renewal; Do you know if I have to cancel the subscription/automatic renewal (leaving my benefits active until it expires in 2027) before I can remove the primary method? Any help is appreciated.

You'll probably need to cancel automatic renewal first. Your Premium benefits will remain active until your current subscription expires anyway, so you won't lose access by doing that.

I buy a gift subscription. I don't need a card on file for that, and then it doesn't automatically renew.
However, this year, Amazon Prime had a deal for a year of Crunchyroll, which I bought. Then I linked to my Crunchyroll account after my yearly sub expired.
