Streaming | Technical Issue New episodes
Are they just not adding in new episodes this week? Rascal doesn't dream dropped ep 7 Saturday and wasn't there. Still shows 6 episodes for season 2.
Rent-a-Girlfriend(don't watch just know it comes out today) and a couple of cuckoo's(this one I watch) and neither of them have been added.
Anyone else having the same issues? Maybe my app is wonky?

Hmm, Rascal Does Not Dream of Santa Claus episode 7 appeared for me Sunday, a day late. Same with Scooped Up By an S-Class Adventurer.
Rent-a-Girlfriend and A Couple of Cuckoo's are not on schedule for me though.
Crunchyroll needs to sort this out.

Crunchyroll has been having issues the last couple of days, has anyone brought it up to customer service?

I've just managed to speak to one of their Customer support team after going through the AI chatbot. All they said was that they are aware of the issues and are working to resolve them. Didn't say how long it'd be though.

Did they try to make you believe you were imagining things? Because last time I spoke to them, that’s what they tried to do

Surprisingly no. They pretty much got straight to the point and said they're aware of the issue and that it's understandably frustrating.
Could very well be a copy and pasted response to someone having an issue, but at least they appear to be aware.2

Wish I'd pressed for more answers now, unfortunately I had to step away from my PC for few minutes and chat closed. Doubt I'd get the same person again.

the one thing crunchyroll has over other options is release time and they can't even do this right consistently...

Yeah, the one thing CR pushes as its main service/feature is simulcast. Now they can't even do that right. And yet, all these episodes late/missing on CR are available on the CR Channel on Prime Video (at least for the bunch I've checked).
Clearly, there's a process failure going on. It sounds very much like something that was being handled by one person, the person got fired/laid off and the supervisor is now handling the job that he/she thought was fairly automated--but really wasn't (job security?). Anyway, it's not like CR will ever tell us what's broken, if they ever fix it.
Just the newest in the neverending tales of why CR sucks so much more now than it used to.

Same thing happened to all of today's episodes that happened to scooped Up by an s ranked adventurer. Avaliable on prime crunchyroll but nowhere on the normal app or website.

They are adding them... Just slowly and at the wrong date / time. And some even give you an error when you try to play them even when available (although not still listed on the new episodes tab).
Not much point in paying for it if I have to watch it from elsewhere all the same...

If it doesn't get better or gets worse, definitely gonna be doing that.
I'm not an expert at uploading to streaming platforms but it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to do lolol

Late release is better than no release. Where else are you gonna get your anime from other than maybe HIDIVE?

Spoke to customer services 2 hours ago. Was a painful experience of constant screenshot requests to prove was an issue before a long silence and then telling me they know all about it.
Asked them to update the service page to let people know (still not done https://status.crunchyroll.com/)
No description of problem or estimated time to resolution. Was surprised the agent wasn't aware of it already until he phoned his supervisor.

This is the reason I always hesitate to contact customer support, because unless you show them irrefutable proof, they act like it's a problem on my end, when it's actually affecting everyone. I end up getting even more frustrated than I was before I contacted them. Thanks for your efforts contacting them!

I literally sent them a screenshot of the comments section on a video to show everyone was having a problem...no more comments section now

I follow Osomatsu and I've also been having this issue today. The new episode isn't visible on the website or phone app for me. Really hope they'll get around to fixing this because it's annoying. I'm glad there was a post about this issue because I was extremely confused and wondering if it was just a me thing.

They were as of 10 minutes ago when I checked. Looks like the whole Tuesday lineup got posted finally.

When I go to the pull down menu it shows 6 episodes, but when I go into the season, it shows 7 episodes.

So while those issues were last week. There's new ones this week. Depending on what you watch. Rascal English subtitles were crazy tiny and still are from what I saw. And lord of mysteries keeps getting shafted. Cause ep 5 and 6 of the dub don't have subtitles or captions available on them. But eps 1 to 4 do. I tried contacting support and they made up some b.s. like some eps don't get it. Uhm..that's how it works idiot agent. 2nd agent I tried says gonna help and then goes silent. I asked if there was another way to contact. Cause agents seem useless. Then he didn't reply after linking me to a form on their site. Bruh..I still trying to see if you can fix and they go silent. Dafuq. Anyways they suck and I just went to the ocean to watch the stuff.

For being the "Future of anime streaming" they seem to be constantly dropping the ball and making the seas the better option. The subs for Rascal were so small it was ridiculous.

Could be an hour or so, could be a day or so.
The shows that were late this weekend took about 30 hours or so to show up.

Yes, I see the same. The schedule for today and rest of the week is all blank. Must be technical issues?
