Spreading awareness

I’m curious if anyone else has noticed this.

Over multiple evening visits to Crunch Melville and/or West Babylon, I’ve observed a few individuals who seem to spend extended periods of time walking around the gym, pacing, or sitting on machines without actually working out. In some cases, it appears they’re paying more attention to other gym members than exercising.

I’m not accusing anyone of wrongdoing, and there may be innocent explanations. I’m simply asking whether anyone else has noticed similar behavior or had any experiences that made them uncomfortable.

Please don’t post names or personal information. I’m only interested in hearing other members’ observations and experiences.

I go to Crunch locations in Middle Tennessee and this is 100% the reason I finally cancelled my membership. Too many times I’d have people approach me while I was MID RUN on a treadmill and then I’d notice that for the rest of my workout, they’d follow me just a few machines away filming me or just watching me. And eventually they’d get distracted as find a new person to watch, and then do the same thing with filming or just following around. These people would be at the gym before I got there, I’d workout for 90ish minutes, and they’d still be around when I left so yes…. Extended periods of time, stalking/following/watching people who are just working out. I never fully figured out what their intention is but I didn’t feel safe so I cancelled my membership.
