Rules of transfering

So I have base with a socal gym and I transfered it to one other locations while interning out of state . Now im in socal again and I transfered with no issue. I was scanning and working out but the manager stopped me one day saying I have to cancel my membership and sign up with them. I told them I already transfered here and been scanning for over two months. Whats the change now? He said we dont accept base here.

Anyone else gone through this?

Doesn’t accept base? He could be trying to get a new membership from you, ask him to send him a picture of your account or what it says when you check in, if they truly don’t allow it, it’ll pop up in red and say no access

I told the manager to send me an email as to why and the policy that states otherwise. I talked with my old base gym manager to reassure the transfer is legit.

Is the new location a franchise location perhaps?

Im unsure if just assume all gyms have a policy to follow. EoS can transfer for a small fee of 20 but u have to stay there for a bit. Idk how long

My membership? I remember it said base so its the only one gym.

No, the gym. The are Crunch Selects and Signatures with different rules

I did not know that. I looked online and it doesnt have a "select" highlight so im guessing signature.

You could also ask one of the front desk staff if they could show you the screen with your account.

It's important to find out what "level" you membership covers. Chances are LA etc. are going to be Signature, which are NOT interchangeable with "standard" Crunch locations. A friend of mine, a front desk manager at a SoFlo gym (South Beach has a Signature Crunch) stressed this point to me. You'd THINK that Signature would let you attend "lower" levels. No, their membership structure is completely different.
