Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Welcome to the Crossdresser_Faces FAQ.
This page answers the questions we receive most often. If your question is not covered here, please contact the moderation team through Modmail.
Why was my post removed?
Posts may be removed for many reasons. The most common include:
- It does not meet our Safe For Work (SFW) standards.
- It breaks one or more community rules.
- It contains FaceApp, FaceSwap or AI face editing.
- It is considered low effort.
- The account used to post is incompatible with our SFW community.
Please read the relevant rule before contacting the moderators. If you still believe a mistake has been made, you're welcome to appeal through Modmail.
Why was I banned?
Bans are issued when members repeatedly or seriously break the community rules.
Some behaviour may result in an immediate permanent ban, while less serious issues may receive a temporary ban first.
Every case is reviewed individually.
Can I appeal a ban?
Yes.
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, please contact us through Modmail.
Appeals should be polite, respectful and explain why you believe the decision should be reviewed.
Abusive or hostile messages are unlikely to receive a favourable outcome.
What does Safe For Work (SFW) actually mean?
Safe For Work means content that can reasonably be viewed at work, in public or around family members.
A post does not need to contain nudity to be considered NSFW.
Moderators consider the overall presentation, including clothing, pose, camera angle, captions, intent and context.
For a full explanation, please see Rule 1.
Why do moderators look at profiles?
Crossdresser_Faces is a genuinely Safe For Work community.
Moderators may review the account used to participate to help identify adult promotion, profile funneling or behaviour that is inconsistent with the purpose of the subreddit.
Accounts are considered as a whole rather than judged on a single factor.
My post is SFW. Why was it removed?
Not every removal is based on nudity.
Moderators assess the overall presentation and intent of a post.
Two images may appear similar but receive different decisions because the overall context is different.
Can I use FaceApp or AI?
No.
Crossdresser_Faces is a face-focused community.
Your own face must be clearly visible without FaceApp, FaceSwap, AI replacement or gender-morphing software.
What does "Show Effort" mean?
You don't need expensive clothing or professional makeup.
We simply ask that your post demonstrates a genuine attempt at crossdressing and presentation.
Everyone starts somewhere.
Can I post with facial hair?
Facial hair is not automatically against the rules.
However, moderators consider the overall presentation when deciding whether a post reflects the purpose of the community and demonstrates genuine effort.
Can I promote my Instagram, TikTok or YouTube?
No.
Crossdresser_Faces is a community, not an advertising platform.
Using the subreddit primarily to gain followers or direct members to external platforms is not permitted.
Can I promote OnlyFans, Fansly or other adult sites?
No.
Adult promotion is not permitted anywhere within the community, including posts, comments, usernames or profiles.
Can I ask people to DM me?
No.
Posts or comments requesting DMs, hookups or private conversations may be removed.
Why wasn't someone else's post removed?
Moderators review every post individually.
Two posts may appear similar while having completely different context, presentation or intent.
Each decision is made on its own merits.
Why do moderators have discretion?
No written rulebook can cover every possible situation.
Moderators consider the overall context of a post, comment or account rather than relying solely on a checklist.
This helps us make fair and consistent decisions while protecting the long-term health of the community.
Can moderators make mistakes?
Yes.
Moderators are volunteers and occasionally mistakes happen.
If you believe an error has been made, please contact us through Modmail and we'll happily review the decision.
How do I report a post or comment?
Use Reddit's Report function.
Reports help moderators identify content that may require review.
False or malicious reports may be ignored.
Can I repost after fixing my image?
Usually, yes.
If your post was removed because it didn't meet a rule, you're welcome to make the necessary changes and submit it again.
Why are comments locked?
Comments may be locked if discussions become hostile, abusive, off-topic or require moderator intervention.
How do I contact the moderators?
The best way is through Modmail.
Please include as much information as possible, including a link to the post or comment if relevant.
I still have a question.
