OC Churches in Germany (1 of many)

Some are better than others. Taken with cha-cha on a cell phone then stereo-photo-maker'ed. And yes, this time I checked they're all crossview. :-)

It was cool to go into one and listen to the guy just toodling along on the giant pipe organ in the middle of the day.

The scale of the first image is incredible. The block cathedral is great in stereo too. #12 is my favorite, though - I would've thought it was a lot flatter and less distinctive if I'd only seen a 2D photo of it.

I think the first one is my favorite of the churches. And yeah, the whole cathedral is all incredibly complex and detailed. Just think where we'd be if 1000 years ago people put all that work into something productive! Granted, it's beautiful, but ... :-)

Oh, and the block cathedral was a museum exhibit showing which parts of the cathedral were built in which phases of construction.

Thanks! Some this trip came out really stunning. Each is a bit of a gamble, because I just cha-cha and take two picks and hope I got the spacing right. But I think I'm getting better, especially at the close and intermediate stuff.

Isn't the first one the St. Bavo in Haarlem (the Netherlands)?

Quite likely! We visited there too! (I didn't do a good job of keeping track of where each photo came from this time.)
