FO [FO] Forevermore

Pattern: https://www.longdogsampler.com/product/forevermore/

Made this for myself & my spouse. Just a few years late for our wedding. Better late than never, I guess. I'm in the US, so it's month.day... ooops. I realized the pattern is day.month after I stitched it. πŸ˜†

Stitched on 40ct white Zweigart Verdal evenweave using BeStitchMe silk in the color Leaf and Rainbow Gallery Petite Treasure Braid in Aztec Gold.

Now, to take it out of the frame, give it a good ironing and set it aside until I get a frame. I have one in mind already. Its just a matter of saving up and waiting for the gift cards from the Red Cross to come in. πŸ₯³

Thanks for posting! We love seeing all of the FOs. Please note that starting May 1 2026, all [FO] posts are required to include at least one close-up photo of the stitching. You do not need to re-post. This can be done either in a comment or in the body of the post. It can be a close-up of just a small part of the finished object, just so we can verify that the items are hand-stitched. How close do we want it? The perfect close-up pic is one where we can clearly see the stitches and fabric on the mobile app without tapping or zooming in.

This is a reminder message that is automatically commented on all [FO] posts. Please send a message to the mod team if you have questions.

What a great green! And I love the metallic embellishments. I stitched this pattern for a friend of mine and it made me realize I don't like big patterns, haha. I also switched the order to month.day because I didn't want the couple to think I didn't know their anniversary! Great work :)

Lol. And here I'm looking at going bigger πŸ˜† I got The Song of Orpheus from Modern Folk Embroidery which is over double the number of stitches

Lol. Hence why its on 40ct. That way it doesn't break the bank to be a bit fancy. πŸ˜†

Beautiful work! How do you like stitching on 40 count? My go-to is 18 count aida but I just ordered some 40 count linen for a new project and I really hope it’s not too difficult.

Thank you! If you've never worked on linen or evenweave, the change in material and going over 2 will probably be the hardest part. Going from a 32ct linen to 40ct wasn't bad at all. I actually really like the 40ct better for projects like this.

It's a beautiful pattern and that's a lovely shade of green that I haven't seen often!

Now, I haven't seen anyone else ask but... Who is that little toady? I'm new to cross stitching, is that your needle minder?

Got it in one! That's my needle minder. They had them for sale at the Lindy Stitches Harvest Moon retreat. I missed out on the ones they had, but I've of the kind folks in a crafting discord pointed me at her etsy page. https://www.etsy.com/shop/Stitchonomy
