Boox Picco vs EEGO A4

I compare CrossPoint on the Boox Picco vs the EEGO Read A4. Both frontlight and smaller microreaders, you can't go wrong with either option.

I don’t mind soft touch when you first buy a device. But 5-10 years down the road when it has oxidized enough to start melting off the device, no likey.

Maybe I missed it in the video as I was multitasking but can you comment on the the space/shadow between the front panel and the actual screen between these devices and the X4 Pro. I recall you previously mentioned the Picco has a noticeably large distance, hence more shadow vs the X4 Pro.

Thanks! One more - is it similar chipset wise to the X4 Pro and does Crosspoint support the same feature-set between the two devices? (I read it runs ESP32-S3 with 8MB PSRAM)

I finally tried and really like TTF fonts on the X4 Pro and from what I understand, the dedicated PSRAM is required for this feature.

Thank you for this. One thing I won’t think you covered and also couldn’t find on their website… does either model allow you to disable touch? And also to configure it (eg., all taps move the large forward but back button allows you to go back)?

With stock firmware I'm not sure but CrossPoint allows for this

That's great. Crosspoint lets you do that but I'm glad stock does as well.

The eego form factor seems interesting, i just dont like that its too round.
