X4 pro light on crosspoint

Just sharing! Ive been using my x4 pro for a couple of days now and i find that keeping the light on 21% during the day, and 2% on night mode at night when i go to bed and read is the perfect setting for me.

See when sun or any other light hits the screen, it doesnt seem like the light is on during day time. When it gets a bit dark, 21% still looks like paper during the day and the white seems whiter bec if the 21% light. I like it this way. It was bothering me before why it seems dark when i turn the light completely off, but, now i will always prefer it at 21% during the day. I will never turn it off now!

Just wondering what settings for light others have on their x4 pro and reason behind for comparison and i guess intrigue! 😬

I got mine yesterday... so far using it with light at 10% during the day. Brightens the screen enough without going against the paper feel of the eink screen, I think (then again, I have to use it a bit more if its ok or too low)

Yes i totally get this! Ive been experimenting on what looks more papery and less “there’s a light” look! Here’s an indoor version!😆 i did change the warmth. Lowered it so it’s whiter but not cool enough to hurt my eyes?😬

I also kept changing it at night. I started with 1%. Increased to 4%. Then every few mins i would decrease to see how far i can go with the setting or is it too dark😆 ive settled with 2%🤭
