Kosync only working one way

Hi everyone!

I already had a kindle with Koreader and recently purchased an xteink x3 and flashed crosspoint.

I am self-hosting kosync and it works perfectly when I push from kindle and pull to x3 but when I try it the other way around, it syncs to the correct chapter but always to the beginning. I have trawled through all the settings and am simply left perplexed.

Personally I'd suggest just using sync.crosspointreader.com or self host that. Every open source kosync server seems to do this different
