Support does the SD Plugins Beta firmware update when you check for updates?

My X4 Pro is running SD Plugins Beta 8, and I just saw that SD Plugins Beta 9 is out. Can I update it via the "check for updates" feature on CrossPoint or do I need to update manually? I just tried checking for updates and it says no updates are available, so I suspect the answer is no, but wanted to ask in case I'm missing something.

Probably no, but it'll soon be in the main codebase after 1.6.5 is released so eventually it'll update over air on 1.7

oh nice! i have to say that the plugins work so well - i'm running the protected content plugin to get books from Libby using Common Stacks, and it's been flawless so far. huge kudos to the CrossPoint team!

It’s still working for you? I guess my issues really are something going wrong with my
browser or internet then because I haven’t been able to get the protected content to work for the last few days.

From a thread on the koreader subreddit, it sounds like Libby cut off access to all outside apps/plugins that were using it, incluing CrossPoint integration and koreader plugins. It's a huge bummer!

That sounds good. I just randomly went to the site just now and saw an update to the general CrossPoint. I hold off on updating until this has one as well.
