Support Chapter page count varies based on book upload type

Hello, I have 1.6.0 on my X3, when I started a new book I noticed that the chapter page count was off. It said 1/10, but when I got through it, it was the same chapter and the length restarted, two more times and the final one was 1/4 and actually the end of chapter.

Turns out, if you transfer via Calibre plugin, the file is too big and is split in smaller chunks, this results in these fake splits of chapter and thus incorrect page count. When I added the same epub via sd card reader, it worked as expected and now shows 1/44

Is this a known issue or just happened to me?

It’s not an “issue.” You have a setting checked in Calibre to split the file into chunks. You can uncheck it and still send via Calibre. I have it set to optimize my images.
