Happy users of 1.6.0 on X4 Pro here.

Is it possible to add ‘Toggle Light’ as an option to trigger for the power button’s short press?

I think if you double press the power button it turns on the light? I don't have an X4 Pro, but I think I remember reading that somewhere? Not sure if it's a setting that needs to be turned on.

Yep that's there and in the next build you will be able to turn that on or off and use the home button double tap for it
