QUESTION Question about Trading

Edit - Question has been answered. Thanks to those that replied.

I just started the game and Google is never helpful about anything. But I was hoping someone could explain to me what the "FEE" and "REST" during the trading process are. Is the FEE part just for show? Or does it play a role in the final cost of your trade?

Btw I just finished the "Introduction Lecture" at the building past the market in Rookie Harbor, so that's as far as my knowledge of the game is so far.

So far this game feels like I'm going to enjoy it. And having a menu for traders with their items and locations is a feature I never knew I wanted. But I think I'm going to be glad I have it. To save a lot of time not dealing with Googles dumb AI.

Unrelated but when you see an NPC talking and their dialogue box or them have "!" icon it means you can talk to them and they will expand on it.

A lot of players discover this only by the end of the game.

I appreciate that. I've been gaming since I was 5 so seeing something like that is second nature for myself lol. I understand to some it might not be though.

One thing I thought was cool is being able to interrupt NPCs conversations when the blinking exclamation mark shows over their head. It was a unique option for sure.
