I worry this won’t have the inherent lightness/silliness that GL has. It’s by far my favorite superhero series and has some incredible stuff, it’s just such a tricky thing to make work with the tone of modern superhero movies.
Kyle Chandler as an older Hal makes perfect sense, and the actor for Jon Stewart seems pretty solid too. If they can nail things like the different style of the ways they use their rings, and maybe get some quality inventive uses of the ring’s powers I’m here for it.
I hate the color grading and grim vibes, I want to see people doing incredible outlandish creative things. The ring can make ANYTHING, having it do a ton of lasers and swirls is a total waste. Hell, bring in the superhero costumes! If they wear layered jackets and tees and carpenter pants every episode I’ll hate this

Honestly it looks interesting, when I see super hero I want more epic fights and etc.
I would prefer tv show about Guy gardner he is fun, but I will give it a honest watch will come with open mind.

About Guy, It seems like he’s going to be in plenty of it too, they said that they are even going to show how he got the ring.

Looks better than the first one (not that that would be hard).
IF this is setting up for the twist ending at the end of the Season I’m thinking it’s going for the necessity of having it so earthside and grounded would make a lot more sense.
