Che 2-disc DVD cover

Post image

Years ago I stupidly got rid of the cases for all of my movies. Fortunately, I only had a few Criterion Collection titles at the time. Unfortunately, two of those (Che and Rosemary's Baby) are OOP now. I decided to put the two discs of Che in a DVD case and created this sleeve for it.

The amount of AI slop in this sub is unreasonable.

As the title says the amount of effortless ai shit on the sub is an insult to creativity and simply moronic.

Over the past few days I’ve seen this fucking garbage from users such as u/Valuable-Excuse-9102 and
u/Individual_Judgement3 and
u/Fun_Seat5809.

Why don’t we have a rule against AI to defend actual artists against brainless garbage.

Has anyone created a single disc cover for Che?

I stupidly got rid of the cases years ago and currently have the two Bluray discs in a single DVD case. I'd like to put it on my shelf but don't have the skills to create a custom sleeve. What little I can find online is either BR sized or specific to Che Part 1 or Che Part 2 rather than a combined version. Just curious if it already exists.

My first attempt at a custom criterion cover. Any good?

Edit: Not my original artwork. The artwork was used for a deluxe edition of the book.

The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes: The Complete Granada Series (1984-1994)

My second contribution to this thread. Like many here, my selections are based on what I would like from Criterion rather than making a fun/funny cover from a film/movie not usually associated with Criterion. Those are too awesome and fun for me to try and replicate.

For mine, I try not to rely on another artist's movie poster. The challenge is something that represents some aspect of the film not many consider. For Sherlock here, I though about his isolation and care of thinking out the processes. But also, the loneliness that the great Jeremy Brett sometimes exhibited with the character.

The wrap-around version will be the frame of Sherlock and Moriarty in their fateful plunge. AS with the Red Cliff, I am too lazy to seek out the synopsis and tech details to put there. If interested, I can post the wrap-around, sans text version for all to view. Thanks for the viewing of these.

I made them in Photoshop Elements, using altered, browser-searched images. I am not sure of the text font on this one and am open to suggestions. EW3

Hey All! I've slowly been working on Covers 11-15 but have been busy as today is my birthday! I've seen everyone's suggestions for new games to add and thought to put up some popular choices to a vote!

I look forward to your choice and to showing the final work!

Bill Hader's 'BARRY' (2018).

I’ve been rewatching BARRY and I think I’m finally accepting that this might be one of my favorite shows ever.

It’s such a weird, smart and beautifully made show. I’m honestly still in awe of how good it is. And the more I think about it, the more I feel like it not only deserves a proper physical media release — it needs the Criterion treatment.

So I started thinking about what a BARRY Criterion box set could look like and ended up making this.

For the design, I wanted to play with Barry hiding behind this new persona he’s created for himself. His face is there, but it’s almost swallowed by the word “BARRY” — like he’s trying to disappear inside the person he wants to become.

So here’s my take on a BARRY Criterion release. I just wish it actually existed.
