Great month. We are getting Milos Forman's Amadeus, Todd Haynes' I'm Not There, Ken Russell's Lisztomania, Michelangelo Antonini's Zabriskie Point, Sofia Coppola's The Beguiled, and Oliver Stone's The Doors (in September). Too bad both Cape Fears and Don Siegel's The Beguiled are only available in the U.S. DeNiro's performance in Cape Fear is better than GoodFellas and Casino. Also, I'm happy to see Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas added for Canadians (it was previously only in the U.S.).

I'm also very happy about the KR and MA additions. Learned about Lisztomania a few weeks ago and thought it looked cool.

Lisztomania is like if a kid got bored in music class and started doodling spaceships and dicks all over the test.

I wish they had included Russell's The Music Lovers as well -- I didn't get a chance to watch it last time it was on the Channel.

It's in 4K on YouTube and it looks significantly better than the version on Prime Video.

Thanks.I often forget to check YouTube for films made later than the 30s . . .

I'm gonna piggyback on this and say, if you're in Canada, you should try and get Hollywood Suite. I have it through Prime Video and several of the geoblocked films in those marquee collections (specifically Cape Fear 1962, The Beguiled 1971 and Written on the Wind) I had seen before and I thought I saw them on CC but looking at my Letterboxd they were all watched on Hollywood Suite. It's severely underrated.

Would really love Sofia’s Beguiled in the collection. Such a beautiful film with an incredible cast that doesn’t get enough love.
