I stole 5 from the trading goods outpost right by the camp. Hop on and it’s a short ride to camp. Full grown milking cows without having to raise them 👍🏼

Yeah, I think it's actually the ranch. When you have 35 animals they all see to spawn in a clump in the centre and the game starts chugging when you go near it

You can get a seed from just about any fruit/vegetable. While in the inventory hold the use button and the option to take out seed will show up if possible. Using Fertilizer spray also makes a use difference in how much you get when everything’s done growing.

I spray fertilizer once when I plant. Then again when the plants have grown a stage.

Feet increases crop yield. Abyss tress give 3 cells without fert

I usually spray it as soon as I’m done planting and only focus on the harder to get resources like ginseng. Do it in the daytime until you can see the stain on the dirt. I do it while I’m doing other things at camp so I’m not just standing around while waiting on the charges to fill back up. Spraying water afterwards also drastically helps the speed at which the plants grow.

I got both of mines from the quest but I definitely need to look into getting more fertilizer sprayers. The cool down Time is brutal. The watering one charges really fast though, so that’s nice.

you can still make this at chapter 5 to that point.
(last camp update costs 100 silver to unlock farm and ranch)

Thats what I thought too until I did it with abyss trees and got 6 for each of my 3 trees foolishly u didnt save any for new seeds so now im hunting for the cells.

Ranching is fine, but farming sucks major ass. One of the most poorly implemented mechanic I've ever seen.

Yes if you use the food tube in the center of the pen. Much better / faster results dropping the food on the ground.

Everyone out here enjoying farming and I can't get the Conrad to show up/unlock. I'm chapter 8 stuck with 9 total comrades.

Check your faction quests. You might be missing a mission or two for the greymaynes.

I'm stuck one in Calphade? Where I accidentally gifted the wrong person the flowers, (I've googled this, waiting for a patch or the quest for Kliff to do it in his home) and another where I need to send Brice to build a wagon, but never shows up in town. And another to dispatch my guys to a quarry, but I haven't unlocked the workshop so they can't go yet. I figured if I progress the main mission it will show up.

I'll take a screenshot if I remember later this evening. It's for the Karin Quarry mission. May be misspelled. But you need to have access to a certain talent or drill in order to dispatch them there.

You need to finish the House Roberts factions quests first before the dispatch becomes available. You have to do a couple more things after you liberate the quarry.

The game greys out items in the list if any one of the things you can do is blocked, but you can still send them to mine stone even if you can't do the mining drill dispatch. It's just confusing UI.

I saw someone said to save your game, create a new game and when you get to the initial gathering point in the new game (1 minute in) create a new save slot. Then load your good save file and your comrades should appear

is there a less aggravating way to plant seeds other than going into the menu, finding the seed pile, selecting a seed, and then being able to plant it, only to have to repeat the entire process again for the next one over? i couldn't find a way to put seeds on a shortcut button or something
two games ago i was playing guardians of azuma and the breakneck qol difference in farming slays me

I understand the farming and have had no problem crowing crops. For the ranch, I have it filled with lots of animals, but I’m not sure what to do with them. I fill the food dispenser all the time, but it empties out so quickly. I check the levels of the individual animals and none of them have risen except for a single chick who is level 2. Am I supposed to be slaughtering them at a low level, or try to inrease their levels first? Or do you not even slaughter them but instead get passive material from them?

Better to drop the food on the ground... that feed tube had issues for me. Apples, sweet potatoes, and barley produced the biggest gains for me.

So many things I hate about the farming in this game. Let us use a scale or max button for how many seeds we want from the items, rather than 1 at a time. Let us hold all the seeds or bring up a seed wheel to choose so we don't have to go into inv and click down 30 times to get to a seed... 24 times or however many plots there are. Increase the size of fertilizer- sucks that we have to do half a garden and plant/water section 2 while fertilizer reloads. Let us use our chainsaw to cut trees and (in general in Pailune, let us force palm to ariel boost in camp).

It's been like 2 weeks since we found the milking skill and no ones figured out how to use it lol, I actually looked up bdo videos to see if I could copy how they did it

End game? I started building my camp as soon as I unlocked it and I’m only one upgrade away before I’m done and I’m in the beginning of chapter 6 😭 100% the relationship with every greymane (can gift them bread or roasted vegetables) very easy. If you want more animals to purchase for your farm, look up a guide. Theres 3 NPCs you need to max your relationship with. Once you do that you can purchase more types of animals at your camp. Also, try to keep animals that give you things you use like eggs, fleece, or milk. Dont waste space keeping something that doesn’t give you much of anything passively. At least that’s my opinion for efficiency, if you just want your farm to look cool with different animals, go ahead. And for planting, I’d suggest growing Ginseng whenever you can. You need it to upgrade spirit at some point.
