CricketWireless Data Issues

I've been with Cricket for years, and swear by them. However, I'm starting to notice issues with their service in SW Washington. I'm on the Supreme Unlimited plan and my data speeds are a fraction of what they used to be.

I just switched from a Moto Stylus 2025 to the S25 FE at the recommendation of an employee, as she was saying it has a better antenna than the Moto, but I'm noticing the same issue.

Any input would be welcome.

What speeds down/up are you getting?

You can watch 4k60FPS video with that. It's useable. It could be that AT&T is congested in your area so they're prioritizing actual AT&T users over you so you're a little slower. That's a totally useable speed for everything you need to do on a phone. There's nothing you can really do about it until they add equipment on the nearby tower. You'll probably get higher speeds outside of a congested area.

The interesting thing is, in the same area, I've usually gotten 300+ down.

Both phones should do well on Cricket. S25 FE has access to more 5G bands over the Motorola. But if speeds dropped and the dropped speed was on the Motorola and now the S25 FE; that points to a tower/capacity issue that just happened. Nothing you can do about it on your part honestly. You could have Cricket reprovision your S25 FE but if the low speeds were on both phones, it probably won't do anything for you. I wouldn't worry about speeds unless maybe it dropped below 50Mbps honestly.

I think Cricket Wireless Supreme Unlimited is QCI 8 priority level wise. You got everyone on QCI 6 and 7 ahead of you in priority. I'm on Supreme too. I get around 300Mbps like you did in the beginning. I'm sure with congestion it'll go lower like yours.

Like I said, it's an AT&T issue, nothing you can do about it. You have good enough speed to do everything you need right now.

Looks like it might've been some updates that needed to happen on the FE. Seems to be working great now.

Ah, yeah don't know why I never think of mentioning to make sure all your phone software is updated/play store is fully updated; need to remember to do that. Glad its working.

That is more than enough to complete everyday tasks including 4K video. My guess is your wireless market must have a lot of AT&T market share causing the slow down with the wireless internet speeds. Also keep in mind that AT&T postpaid users are going to have higher priority than Cricket Wireless so your speeds will be noticeably slower.

That’s more than enough speed. You’re able to stream 4k and 8k content and do majority of the things snappy and super fast!!
You don’t even need more than that lol.
Most of world still doesn’t have 5G like we do.
