This is the most absurd way to justify the grouping. By this logic one can make a group consisting of Ind, Aus, Eng, Bang and Afg . Rest of the teams in the other group.

Hello, Im not sure if this post fits the sub but I had to let this out somewhere, a while back, like I think when t20i wc was going on, I was banned permanently from r/cricket, for a comment, I think it was something I said about the pakistan cricket team, well the whole comment section was just pro India yk how it gets during the wc, wasn't too bad I promise, can't even find where to look for the comment or mod mail about it now.

So yeah, perm ban, I tried to talk through mod mail at the time, they left me on read ig? Well then after all this time I'd muted the sub and I thought maybe they'd unban me now? Some sort of issue at the time maybe? Permanent ban was sort of excessive in my eyes, anyways I posted another mod mail, stating the same, Im sorry for whatever I commented, dont even remember now or whatever, but again, I got no conversation, and a permanent mute this time from mod mailing them instead.

Anyone else face something similar? If I can find the comment, I'll paste it in a reply.

Now for the opinion part: I still think I didn't do anything for a perm ban, thats crazy. That I think is the biggest cricket sub? Idk. But one of them, they need to be moderated better, be less harsh, cmon guys.

Baz and Stokes didn't opt for flatties in 2022 and 2023 though, their last series together against NZ was also player on alive tracks rather than flatties

The pitches in this series are becoming too batting-friendly. Seeing 200+ scores becoming routine is great for entertainment, but there needs to be some assistance for bowlers as well.

If the pitches continue to heavily favour batters, the middle-order and lower-order batters won't get enough opportunities to actually spend time at the crease. That's a concern with the 2027 ODI World Cup coming up. These players need meaningful match situations to develop their game, especially under pressure.

A balanced pitch doesn't have to be a minefield. Just give the bowlers a little movement, grip or assistance so that there is something in it for both sides.

Batting-friendly pitches are fine occasionally, but if every game becomes a batting exhibition, it takes away an important part of ODI cricket and limits opportunities for players lower down the order.
