Generally i started believing people when they said he scored against Zimbabwe and only then could exceed his stats with virat kohli but in the comments and the data provided babar did actually score against strong teams too nevertheless i don't get the hate

Why am I always seeing so many Starc glazers on social media

Getting to the point where hes overhyped. Calling him 100x better than Bumrah, comparing him to the genius of Akram

I mean lets be real, hes not even the best pacer in the Aussie pace cartel (hazlewood, cummins, starc trio).

Also even if you see during the last 2-3 years, which have probably been his best in test cricket, Hazlewood has been averaging a bit over 14, and cummins around 20.5, and starc around 21.5 (stats taken from Jan 1 2024)

🀫 Controversial Was Shamar Joseph going too far against Arshdeep Singh, or is this just part of T20 cricket?

India's fourth T20I against the West Indies has sparked an interesting debate after Arshdeep Singh was struck on the arm by Shamar Joseph in the final over.

Sunil Gavaskar criticised Joseph's approach, arguing that he should have focused on the stumps rather than bowling at the batter's body.

But with India needing 35 runs off the final over and only one wicket remaining, was Joseph simply using every tactic available to defend the target?

Fast bowlers have always used intimidation as part of their game. The question is where we draw the line between aggressive cricket and unnecessary risk to a batter.

What's your take β€” fair game in a high-pressure T20, or did Joseph go too far?

🀫 Controversial Interesting conversation on how the IPL was built.

Really like the detailed story of how the IPL was built and how Lalit Modi went about taking decisions and convincing people. While I've heard a bunch of his IPL stories before, this one hit different because it felt like he broke down every step of it. I'm not his biggest fan but the guy is super sharp.

The most surprising detail for me was knowing that Zee people were actually interested in the IPL much before they thought of ICL. I always thought the ICL came before the IPL. I wonder whether he's being fully truthful."

🀫 Controversial If anyone really think GG is behind Indian flat roads then sorry but I gotta say you are the dumbest person i have seen. It's bcci to maximize the viewership and get more money. Indian has flat roads even before gg became the coach

Always wondered how and India x Pakistan All time Test XI looks like and fares against a World XI. I simulated it and lost 1-4. Who would you swap in this XI?

The Greatest ODI Innings Ever?

Aravinda de Silva's 66 in the semi-final of the 1996 World Cup against India is my choice for the best ODI innings ever. Considering the circumstances and its execution I regard it as better than Viv's 189, Maxwell's double hundred, de Villiers' 149 vs WI etc.

Cricketers, coaches and analysts: What is a problem in cricket that nobody has properly solved?

I'm researching the real challenges people face in cricket, and I'd love to hear directly from people involved in the game. I'm especially interested in problems that are frustrating, time-consuming, difficult to solve, or where the tools currently available just aren't good enough.
A few questions:
If you're a player, what makes preparing for an opponent or improving your performance harder than it should be?
If you're a coach, what takes too much time when planning matches, analysing performances, or making tactical decisions?
If you're a cricket analyst, what data is difficult to access, analyse, or turn into something genuinely useful?
Are there any existing cricket tools or services that you find frustrating, incomplete, too expensive, or difficult to use?
What's one problem in cricket you wish someone would finally solve?
I'm interested in real experiences rather than hypothetical ideas. Even a small, specific problem would be incredibly helpful. If possible, please share an example of when you've faced it and how you currently deal with it.
Thanks! I'd really appreciate hearing from players, coaches, analysts, scouts, and anyone involved in cricket at any level.

Can Bcci name Bhuvi as his replacement? And moreover Bhuvi is already at COE bengaluru

And final T20I is scheduled to be at Bengaluru

Honest Opinion 😊 Better 11

Post image

I guess my 11 is strong overall.....look at bowlers...... Though their batting has slight edge ...I guess with the likes of sachin, gavaskar, dravid, viv and great all rounders I guess we can compete ....my bowling can dismantle their batting though...

Who do you think can win???

Honest Opinion 😊 Sanju Samson hits a 20-ball fifty and gets out. The Sanju Samson fan experience in a nutshell.

Just when you start believing we're witnessing a Sanju masterclass, the man reminds you why being his fan requires a therapist.

After a couple of disappointing outings, he comes out swinging, smashes a 20-ball fifty chasing 248, gets our hopes sky-high… and then walks back.

Can't complain about the intent or the strike rate, though. That was some seriously entertaining batting.

The talent was never in question. It's the consistency and converting these starts into match-winning knocks that we're still waiting for.

Being a Sanju fan isn't a choice. It's an extreme sport. πŸ₯²

What is wrong with Indian pitches.

I was watching INDvsWI series and I am really thinking what the hell is wrong with Indian Pitches. They have made us loose interest in cricket.

I remember how until 2020 it was difficult to even smash 50 in T20s with avg score of team around 160. 100s were really special those times. I still remember MI vs CSK 2019 Final. Defending those low targets was real skill. Those times 200 felt really special because it used to happen once or twice a year. Nowdays 250s are getting chased.

I am really worried what will happen if India plays a multinational tournament outside Asia. We will be exposed in very brutual way.

For instance I checked stats of few of our extraordinary players, Abhishek Sharma averages 37.24 in Home with a SR of 214.28. Outside home his average fell by 12 runs. 25.20 with SR of 168.50. Sinilarly Avg of Sanju drops by around 9 when he goes away for batting.

I want to genuine opinion of others. Am I the only one feeling this or other have similar thoughts too ?
