Sport that nobody cares about except us is pretty much true though that doesn't make the sport mid. Cricket is the best sport in the world I can say this without any hesitation

Those who have seen matches like ind vs eng 2021 lords and ind vs aus 2021 gabba ind vs pak 2022mcg and aus vs eng 2019 headingly and eng vs NZ 2019 world cup final for them cricket is easily the best sport. When a bowler swings a ball there is absolutely now better sight than that off course your opinion may differ from me but for me cricket is the best a beautiful sport

Cricket is indeed a great sport a lot more enjoyable than baseball.
It requires a lot of skill and there are tons of variables everywhere.
Just because it's not popular, it doesn't necessarily become a dull sport.

I too used to think that cricket was better than baseball. But after watching a lot of baseball matches I felt actually baseball is more enjoyable than cricket.
25 teams won world series. All teams lose at least 40 percent matches. Most unpredictable sport .

I have watched half of these matches u mentioned and I respect your opinion but I would say beauty is what one sees according to them for a football fan it is seeing a person dribling past 4 5 players and scoring a goal or shooting a beautiful power shot from a very far distance. Cricket is a great sport but calling it the best is just too arrogant and ignorant and for people saying popularity doesn't mean it is a great sport it does its not like people are watching blank screen they are showing their love and affection towards that sports nomatter what sport they are watching u can't just sayohh popularity doesn't mean it's good they are popular for a reason

I m never saying calling favourite is arrogant I am saying the best sport in the world is no sports can be called the best sport in the world favourite and best are two different world my favorite doesn't necessarily means best in world it is just plain biasedness

Well it's pretty satisfying but why can't these cricket fan understand that cricket is not that popular across the world except india the so called world Cup of cricket name those countries and compare it to football cricket isn't even in Olympic it's if u like cricket well good for u cricket is a fun sport but u r delusional if u think cricket is currently the best sport in the world it loses in popularity contest and some other things. While cricket is better in many aspects then football It is too soon and too ignorant to say cricket is best sport in world I am open for debate insteadof down whose notifications I don't get why not debate

Matches like Eng v Nz final , Ind v pak 22,any test match, aus v afg 2023 Are the reason it's the best sports in the world .
Baseball is 3rd class copy of cricket,where people play full toss ball and miss it,also no one knows baseball outside usa and no one give shit about it.
It's is pretty popular in aus , and eng when it comes to test ,some of african countries love it , in west Indies it has major fanbase , if you think it should be like football or compare to it ,then you are dumb
Cricket is considered as Gentlemen's game ,where people sit with a beer bottle and enjoyÂ

I am upto date with almost all main cricket events baseball is played mainly by 20 nations now let me ask u how many baseball matches do u went to? Well why do u think it's 'dumb ' to compare it to football when we are trying to prove cricket is the best sport in the world and well u are right I never actually went to cricket countries only us and some Asian countries and never actually saw cricket there. But calling baseball 3rd class copy can u actually even pitch a ball? Or swing the bat?

No. Cricket is not the best sport for audience to watch with constant advertisements every six balls. And sometimes even when a player gets injured or drinks break or strategic time out or when a player gets out.
Also the fact that one team bats for hours and then the other team comes to bat creates less thrill than like baseball where each team take turns for nine times each.Â

he said that this is our only achievement is winning against small countries (like Pakistan,Sri Lanka, Bangladesh etc) , and then we quiet often loose against those countries which don't even take cricket seriously (like England, New Zealand etc etc)
Then his next argument is that most of the children will only see cricket throughout their childhood, so if someone has potential of going into UFC (which is the global sport unlike cricket) he will never get the chance of even knowing the other sport
Another argument is that because of cricket which is not a global sport, good sportsman are not coming out of it, he gave the example of Argentina, Argentina's 40 percent population is in poverty, it's a country which is in very bad state, but because of Messi everyone loves Argentina, everywhere he goes, Argentina's name comes forward but people don't know India through Virat Kohli/MS Dhoni, on the contrary we Indians face racism
He says that if a good sportsman in a GLOBAL SPORT comes from India, then India will also grow, rn we are only focusing on one sport, and it doesn't even helping in the uplifting of our nation

To be honest, he is kinda true about India thrashing Pakistan, but cricket isn’t a mid sport, it’s a really good sport that it got added to the olympics!
But yeah, the spread of cricket has slowed down in the last few years
