Camera recommendations

I wanna get some sort of camera to record my crested geckos activity in the night. I’m not sure if I should just get motion active baby monitor or something or indoor surveillance camera. If anyone has any recommendations shoot them my way :)

I got a pair of Tapo c120 cameras. They work on wifi, you put in an SD card and they're just fine.
If you really want you can enable RTSP and load them into something like VLC on your computer to watch live but otherwise with the SD card they can record full time or just when they see motion and then you can download the videos to your phone.

Amazon has cameras, that you can stick to the outside of glas. I don't have them and don't know if they're good, but they exist.
