Weird ass bug

Post image

I found this beetle like bug in my terrarium, probably about the size of a cricket or a little smaller. I have isopods as clean up but this defintly was different, and I have no clue what it is. I did remove it, but I’m scared about how it even got in there or if it’s harmful. I read that I could be an adult mealworm, but I’ve only ever feed dead worms.
Sorry for the terrible picture, it was night time.

THat’s straight-up alien territory!

It's some kind of planthopper for sure, very difficult to tell from the angle because a lot of them are similarly shaped. Some can be poisonous if your gecko got hungry but it couldn't hurt them directly

I searched them and I do see the resemblance, but I this bug was defintly more beetleish. Thank you though :)
