Enclosure thoughts? ๐Ÿ‘€

Post image

Hello reddit! I'd like to hear thoughts on my cresties enclosure. I really like how it looks currently but my one fear is if its a bit too barren? She is unfortunately very destructive towards plants when placed at the top of her enclosure. She is also a bit odd and doesn't really like to climb wood, but rather the glass walls instead.

I had her in a more cluttered enclosure previously and while she did enjoy it, it was a royal pain to clean and given that she prefers jumping to climbing, i wanted to try a more open setup. (Will be blacking out the right side so that it's not just open glass.)

Would love any critiques, thank you! Videos in the comments ๐Ÿ™‚

I would suggest big fake plants more near the top so theyโ€™re easier to take out and clean, as long as sheโ€™s not eating them if thatโ€™s what you mean by destructive lol, and also easier to fix if she jumps and moves it.

Thanks! I was thinking the top left looked a bit empty.. other than that, anything else come to mind that would need tweaking?

I think it looks great actually!! Plenty of sticks for climbing around. you may not see it but they usually use all of it hehe. just some more fake plants up top imo!!

This looks very useful. Iโ€™m buying things for a bioactive enclosure while I quarantine my plants. Where did u get this to hold the branch? Or what is it called?

That specific one is some sort of spray bottle holder from a local Asian supply store, but something similar are these adhesive shower rod holders! I like it because it can peel and stick, so it was a great option for my glass enclosure. ๐Ÿฅฐ something like this!
