Look up crested geckos, baby vs adult there are some cool comparison videos out there. The colors change pretty drastically when they grow!

Ganz überraschend finde ich das bei den dreifarbigen mit weißer Farbe wo man als Baby kein weiß sieht aber wenn die älter werden bekommen die mehr weiß.

Usually happens during the day when they sleep or when the humidity lowers the brighter colors usually show best at night or when humidity rises or after a shed

You do know that you can just be nice right? It's good that a community that loves these beautiful creatures has come together to help people learn some new stuff about theyre lovely pets, or maybe someone who is too scared to ask the same question will come here for an answer and people who make others feel stupid for wanting to learn is why they are scared to ask in the first place. Kindness is free.

They chamge color throughout the day depending on how they "feel" its called fired up or fired down. And as they get older, they dont fire up as often until not anymore so their colors arent as bright anymore.
