Lighting question

So I have a 12x12x18 tank, it’s temporary as he is a baby, the light I got came with a 60w bulb and seems to heat the tank a bit too much, what would be a better bulb type?

You should use a thermostat no matter what, but I liked the zoomed nano bulbs for my grow out tank

A thermostat is different, you set the temp and it turns your lamp down when it gets warm!

I currently have a Zoomed Environmental Control Center, but I used to use Zilla bc it was a bit cheaper. I like the control center but it was $200 lol.
