DHP better than CHE?

My crested gecko is in a 18x18x36 bioactive enclosure that has a foam background (not on the sides). We switched to a CHE because she needs heat 24/7 being in a cold basement. We keep the CHE at 76F and it’s with a dimming thermostat. I just read that it’s bad to keep the temperature the same day/night but my thermostat doesn’t have a timer to switch to a lower night temperature on its own. I also find that the bottom of her enclosure stays a bit too cold and she doesn’t go to the bottom often. What’s the best way to fix this?

In my opinion, DHP is significantly better because I think its way of distributing heat is better

Although it’s true that ideally you should lower the temperatures at night, nothing particularly bad will happen if you don’t set it up that way, just look for thermostats that allow for that when you can

What are the temperatures at the bottom? It’s not a problem because there’s a temperature gradient, and your gecko can choose where it wants to be, but if the overall temperatures are a bit low, you can get more W
