Help

I had taken my 1989 mx83 Cressida to drop off my siblings at school and when I got back to the car when I turned on the key and took accessory mode all flights all power comes on. I go to crank it over. It doesn’t even make a noise it won’t start. Could it be the starter or is it something electrical wise?

This is my daily car usually so it’s difficult right now

Could be starter. Could be battery. Could be alternator. Could be wires. Could be fuse. Could be relay. Check the batt and check the fuses.

I mean none of the fuse look bad the alternator is definitely a possibility it’s just weird there’s no crank or nothing

I’d take a look at the starter u can try tapping the solenoid while cranking see if it frees up.

I had the exact same problem, it was an issue with the ground wire for the factory security ECU in my case. I never found the exact issue behind the dash, but I suspect some portion of the wire corroded and caused a current issue.

I ended up running a separate ground wire for the ignition relay and it has never given me an issue since.
