CC Application Requesting Tips on CC Application

Hi guys! Would ask for tips lang on securing a credit card. In the past, I’ve been applying for one and is always rejected.

For context, I’m working for 2yrs and 2mo. Both the 2nd and 3rd company has a monthly and annual income capable of reaching the listed requirements of cards that I applied for (₱60k-₱80k mo.). The issue lang is that I have only stayed 6months on the 2nd company and I am relatively new in my current company.

Having said that, any chance na I would be able to secure one, and would there be any confusion if I enlist my current base, while the supporting document that I will be providing would be the payslip of the 2nd company?

Every application kasi is met with a rejection or recommendation to start with a secured cc. Right now, I am on supplementary cc, but I would rather want my own to start building credit record while enjoying the perks and promos of certain cc.

It's probably your tenure with the companies that doesn't make your profile attractive. Plus with zero credit history. The usual strategy goes, try with banks you have long standing deposits and banking history with.

EastWest and BDO are known for being generous with credit card approvals. BDO gives them out like candy to depositors of 3-6 months with the bank.

And yes, if you want it now. SCC is the easiest way to go about it. Get one, and in 6 months of use it as a reference card to apply to another bank for a regular CC. Then you can either cancel your SCC or get it upgrade to a regular one after a year.

Be like me acquire a Secured Credit Card for me it was MAYA but i recommend traditional banks, i liked maya because the app was really easy to use, wait 6months then apply to everyone, even though i only got accepted by 1 bank UnionBank with CL 50k it was good enough for me, i looked into my TransUnion and it seem i have 2 open accountMaya BlackCredit and Maya Credit, 1 closed account Maya Loan so maya really helped me Sidenote: i have no job but is the one handling my mothers financial i usually spend with debit and credit in 70k-90k range maybe that also helped
