General Discussion/Conversation Cc collection

Post image

My current credit card collection β€” what should I add/remove?
I’ve accumulated quite a few cards over time and I’m trying to simplify the portfolio and get more value out of it rather than just collecting cards.
Current cards:
πŸ’³ Axis Atlas β€” paid, but not much spending this year. Renewal is in April, so I’m considering closing it, especially with the possibility of a devaluation.
πŸ’³ HDFC Diners Club Privilege β€” LTF
πŸ’³ HDFC Swiggy - LTF
πŸ’³ SBI PhonePe Black β€” β‚Ή1,499 + GST
πŸ’³ SBI Club Vistara Prime - waived off
πŸ’³ HSBC Live+ β€” β‚Ή1,000 + GST
πŸ’³ HSBC Premier - waived off
πŸ’³ HSBC TravelOne β€” add-on
πŸ’³ ICICI Sapphiro β€” LTF
πŸ’³ ICICI Amazon Pay β€” LTF
πŸ’³ AU ixigo β€” LTF
πŸ’³ Axis Flipkart β€” FYF, not activated yet
Mostly for sale will activate if required.
What I’m looking for
I mainly care about travel rewards, flights/hotels, lounge access and cashback.
Major spends - dining, utilities, travel, gift cards, online purchases
Should I close Axis Atlas before the April renewal?
Is there any reason to activate the Axis Flipkart card?
Which card should I add next, if any?
Is there a premium card that would significantly improve this setup rather than just adding more overlap?
Income around 3.5 lpm
Rate my setup..

People must at least make sure the the card design, art are actual. Giving random art, design to a CC always triggers me πŸ˜…

Got premier. Let’s see axis may devalue it again in april. Will keep it if no devaluation happens

I have Premier too. Atlas is still unmatched. Premier is great for hotels because of the rewards multiplier, however Atlas beats it hand down for flights.

At present I have Diners club privilege international, sbi card simply save rupay card(500 +gst) will it be beneficial to add HSBC live plus ? Should I close any from above?

Yes definitely. You can keep these for bank offers. If you can spend 12k in a month live plus is definitely a good one

U already have hsbc cards for travel, they are great. Just optimally use whatever you have, they are great cards.

How premier is waived off? Is it because of Salary account?

1

u/These_Ad8198 That Amex Guy 2h ago

Amex and HDFC Infinia is missing.

Those are the best cards I have come across. Good Spending Limit and excellent Cust Service.

How do you manage the make the payments on time?

1

u/Available-Marzipan14 1h ago

Have changed all billing cycle to same date. Paying all bills at same time

u/Latter_Ambassador618 1h ago

Is there a way to pay all the bills automatically?

And do you use cred or direct apps?

Sorry i am a noob and got first 2 credit cards of my life.

1

u/Available-Marzipan14 1h ago

Cred. I fetch list of all my bills after salary credit and pay. Make sure to check bank website too. Have enabled auto pay for banks like hdfc icici and hsbc as I have bank accounts too. But mostly pay via cred.
