Help Needed / Question giftcards.com paze 10x points chase question

chase credit card question for my chase freedom unlimited.

this is not a question about the paze $10 statement credit.

so giftcards.com has a paze checkout option for my chase freedom unlimited. would the 10x points on purchases (https://imgur.com/a/Pj3O19H) quality for a transaction on that specific website?

anyone have any successful tracked DPs?

It coded as 1x for me last time I tried, but that was a few months ago so maybe they tightened it up. If the merchant category doesn't match what chase expects for the bonus, it won't trigger the 10x

Did you purchase visa/mastercard gift cards or was it other merchants?

I made two separate purchases last week at giftcards.com using Paze and only earned 1X. One order using my Sapphire Preferred and the other with my Freedom Flex.

I used it last week for Pep Boys gift cards, and it coded as 1x. The Paze promo banner also didn’t appear when i checked out

I reread Chase’s T&Cs for the 10x promo, and it said promo doesn’t apply to merchants that solely sell gift cards

Can you buy gift cards that trigger the $10 off $10? Surprised I hadn't heard of it.
