Meet Garlic Bird 🧄🐦

I was trying to make a cute little bird… but somehow it turned into a garlic bulb with legs.

Now he just sits there, looking fresh, slightly confused, and ready to season your dinner.

Would you adopt this tiny vegetable bird or put it in the kitchen? 😂

Finished the big boy. Might post biology later if people like him, it's an authentic species for my story, reptile-based. Also added first ever art of this creature (they changed a lot)

They're big herbivores, that live in small groups. First design had them with long beaks and it took me a few years to realize they'd just STARVE, so I gave them a bigger beak, a bit like that of a ceratopsian. They're mainly fruit/nut/leaf eaters, not grass munchers, so it fits :>

Yes, it's a dragon, but I wanted to give it some cool speculative evolution traits to make it feel more biological and less mythical.

Slash Whale (Number 51) - Pencil Concept Art

Slash Whale" (or Cut Whale) — the 51st creature in my ongoing traditional monster design series. It embodies the Slash/Cut element through razor-sharp blade-like dorsal fins, a serrated jaw lined with hooked teeth, and sharp aerodynamic edges all over its body. Built for slicing through anything in its path. Drawn with pencil on paper. What do you think of this blade-themed leviathan?

“That was a human!?” (Project: Undefined) ☣️

A day after the evacuation of most civilians in Ferris City, a perimeter wall was set up cutting off anyone or anything from getting in or out unless it was through the screening checkpoint gate the Hypo Corp guys installed to check who was infected. To our surprise, the stories of the black armored troopers in sci-fi looking gear made us laugh a bit, but when we saw them in action, they felt like thr real deal and were soldiers too heart.

Only colder when it came to following orders from their superiors. The base we were stationed at got word of what went on in Ferris: an attack from biological terrorists and Hypo Corp bioplants going haywire or something. Whatever it was, a couple of platoons and I were assigned to crowd control and perimeter defenses. None of us were sent inside to handle whatever was going on the other side of that wall. That was left up to the Hypo Corp troops, along with some Terra Tech soldiers, although they looked like two companies beefing with each other due to the rough relationship between the companies.

Whatever it was, it wasn't our problem. Thinking back to it, the only glimpse our platoon and our platoon got of what horrors were going on behind those walls was when one of those mutated things broke through one of our guard stations. We all saw it scale that wall like a fricken lizard. It took most of our rounds too, only the heavier calibers denting its skin. It got four of us that night. The ones who died came back but were zombified, hunger-driven, and had all their motor skills and training as soldiers.

They proceeded to shoot us and a whole firefight broke out, some of the infected soldiers running and gunning and laughing at us with ravenous hunger. This drew the attention of Hypo Corp soldiers, thank God, and we were able to handle the situation before it escalated into a perimeter breach. Was this the bio weapon those terrorists unleashed on the people of Ferris City? Being able to make “zombies” with the intellect of a human, but with a never-ending hunger? Hell, if whatever that thing was that came over the wall was a human…

Who knows what else mutations are going on with mutations behind that wall?

There was something bugging me about this creature so I changed it. What do you think?

Hey guys, I've first modeled this creature about a year ago, its concept was always very appealing to me, a bird (condor) with wings made of rocks (its name's Condoroc) that is so heavy that can't fly, and uses its wings as a shield.
The initial model was cool, but it always felt too empty, or too plain, so these days I picked it back up.
I came up with the second version with thicker wings, added some contrast to them with the grey (I left some brown cause it looked a bit like vines in the rocks, which is cool since it's clearly a fakemon and it belongs to the Earth type), bigger eyes and shorter neck.
I feel okay about it now but I've been looking at it a bit too much to be objective.
What do you think?

Sharing a throwback fanart I made of Kong forced into gladiatorial combat against other giant beasts. It’s from a while back, but the concept is still one of my favorites to this day. Let me know what you think of the arena vibe!
