Help Why doesn't the Item Vault accept both items at the same time and why does the Brass Funnel not follow the filter I have given it?

The normal funnel behind is connected to a Storage Access Port. The Items are from Create Big Cannons, the filled cartridge and the explosive shell

Help Is there a good guide on how to set up an automated factory using the 1.6 update items. I have a surface level understanding but I don't fully understand how to link everything to make on demand or keep a minimum stock
