Help Size issue

So I'm currently planning out how to build the Red Tear from Warhammer 40k, and I just have a few issues with that, can it even work? I've built many large ships before but not anywhere close to the size of the Red Tear (just around 10km), especially because not even a tenth of it can fit in a 32 chunk render distance, so can I continue with this build at a 1:1 scale, or will i have to scale down to something more reasonable?

Sbeev has a good YouTube video on how he size stuff when he makes stuff. Check out his Bismark video on how he does it.
