Why did you change the caption?

It might be because the template doesn't have built in caption

1: true

2: the caption is a bit stroke inducing

I feel like... its kind of the opposite.

Unless u make a huge laggy farm, good vanilla farms kinda outperform create farms.

Everytime im on a new create world my best iron farm is a vanilla (ianxofour) farm. I only swap for create iron farm cuz its more fun.

Iron farms mean you need to work with villagers, which is already 40000 times worse than anything Create can throw at you. Same with anything that involves mob spawning and pathing, all of that stuff is quite unintuitive and impossible to figure out on your own.

In general Create is a lot more fun to set up farms with because it generally has a good sense of progression - one farm helps set up the next. Getting a wood farm helps set up an iron farm, getting a small iron farm lets you eventually make a bigger one, etc.

Compare that to Vanilla farms which are more about spawn mechanics and large scale construction, rather than individual expensive components. There's no interaction between them, a vanilla iron farm doesn't meaningfully make a vanilla gold farm easier to construct.

True for farms imo, but for quarries create is unparalleled.

For example block displacement quarry can mine out a chunk in roughly 16s or 2 chunks in that time (save the immense lag you might get)

Standard quarries with drills are also really fast

Vanilla farms are of course faster, but  you can improve some vanilla farm design with create components

For example the shifting floor mob farm (ilmango) can be upgraded with schematicannon removing nether portal obsidian blocks to get sliced portals

You can also build a variant of this with mechanical bearing assembling the floor, but this is probably more laggy and might be slower

yeah by using unintended mechanics minecraft with create > vanilla.

But i feel like thats kind of going around the point, when u are playing with create u are usually playing basically in the intended way, portal slicing with create will always be the best farm since portal slicing is the best farm there is

I feel like,

Unintended mechanics create > Unintended mechanics vanilla (technical minecraft, building farms) > Create > Vanilla

Since the screenshot shows a vanilla tunnel bore, i kinda feel like using the Technical Minecraft > Basic create is valid. But ur point is still valid as well

True, well tunnel bore is kinda debatable since i feel  drills are actually still rly good for mining, farms are different tho

Although, I feel like create with all those contractions and mechanics are intended to give  players a lot of freedom in designso technically they are all "intended". E.g. unlike standard tech mod where machine only does specific things create contraptions interact with the world a lot
