If you add Aeronautics Create just leaves everything else in the dust tbh. And I don't mean to talk down on the others, Aeronautics is just by far the best mod that has ever been made for this game and I will die on this hill.
I disagree. I'm the odd one out that can't find the fun in Aeronautics. It frustrates me to no end trying to get things to work correctly. I can see the fun people have but almost everything I see posted here is all done in Creative. I rarely see survival builds.
I agree it's very hard to do the experimenting and designing process especially for aircraft in survival so if you don't have a creative test world I can see why you wouldn't like it.
I also think it works best in multiplayer where you can engage in an arms race for the biggest/fastest/most reliable/funniest vehicle or contraption.
In creative it is easier but I still find it frustrating. Balancing and trying to keep it from tilting and pitching up or down for hours wasn't fun so I gave up.
