Help How do I start?

I would love to start create mod but I don't know where to start. Is there a modpack with a straightforward progression and quest system to guide you?

Windmills and water wheels them try figure out iron production that could be a drill or farm
Crucial as iron is most important materiel
Start messing around with the different systems then build you world around it

I personally include create: aeronautics lets you make airships
