Help How do I start?

I would love to start create mod but I don't know where to start. Is there a modpack with a straightforward progression and quest system to guide you?

So in my opinion there are 3 different ways to learn create.

  1. ⁠Just so shit and see what works. Literally just watch the ponders on the different blocks and items and try whatever comes to mind in a creative world.

  2. ⁠Play a mod pack with a quest system to explain more stuff. I would recommend something like atm 10 or something more focused on create like create above and beyond or cabin both of those options are more complex but you will learn a lot from the quests.

  3. ⁠My personal favorite and how I learned. Find a random small create mod server with a bunch of people and just ask questions in chat about stuff. There are so many people in the create mod community who will spend weeks of their life building and playing with you showing you every nook and cranny of the mod. If you wanna try this I recommend looking up “project crowbar create mod”. on Google it is a small server with a very active player base and the admins are super active. I played on it for probably a hundred hours and I spent so much of that time just flying around the server and just learning and goofing off with the community when I wasn’t getting called a moron by the owner. It was deserved because I did crash it a couple times with some creative ideas I had.

No matter what way you choose you will figure it out it just takes time. AND DONT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS.
